Motor Function

Essentially, the motor function contributes to the children’s physical and psychological health. It also helps them to control their corporal movement in a healthy way improving their relationship and communication.

It allows children to explore and to investigate, to overcome and to transform conflictive situations, to face the limitations, to improve their socialization with other children, to face their fears, to project their fantasies, to live their dreams, to develop their initiative, to assume roles, to enjoy the game in group and to say ideas freely.

The benefits of the motor function in children and babies are:

- To be conscious of their own body or in movement.
- To get balance.
- To control movements and breathing.
- To get adaptation to the external world.
- To improve creativity
- To develop rhythm.
- It improves memorization.
- To have notions of intensity, size and situation.
- To discriminate colours, forms and sizes.
- To have an idea of organization of space and time.
